AGNES MONICA LYRICS

"Paralyzed"

Kata-kata dari mulutmu memang berbahaya
Kau permainkan oh hatiku dengan berbagai cara
Mata, bibirmu sentuhku sampai ku tak bersuara
Lihat arogansimu, ku malah lemah tak berdaya
Kau pikirku mudah bagimu
Namun bersamamu tabu bagiku

Now baby boy listen to me, boy show me
How you're gonna get me paralyzed
This is me now tell me
When you're gonna get me paralyzed
This is me, boy get me
How you're gonna get me paralyzed

Imma let you slide
Cuz I wont lie, I want you to get me paralyzed
How you're gonna get me paralyzed
When you're gonna get me paralyzed
How you're gonna get me paralyzed
Are you gonna get me paralyzed

Oh kau bawa aku lagi sampai ku hampir mati
Caramu kagumiku, kau kejar aku sampai mati
Memang ku kagumimu dari atas sampai hati
Tak perlu ku ragu, dari hati sampai kaki

 "Walk"

Say what you want but I swear it don't matter
When I walk in the club there ain't nobody badder
See the truth about me your girls a go getter
When you watch me move it don't get no better

Fresh out of the box I'm selling a mill
Some people dream it but i do this for real
I do this for sport like I'm ballin on court
You don't want it I promise
You'll see my body contort

Nobody keep your head bobbin quite like me
On the dance floor rock your body like me
Show you how to do it better get like me
So whats it gonna be Whats it gonna be

Let me see you walk it out
Wa-walk it out
Wa-walk it out lets go
Let me see you walk it out
Don't talk it out just walk it out
Lets go

Stop all the talk I'm ain't with all the chatter
What you call competition I just greet it with laughter
Complicate like chess but you're more like some checkards
Imma give you some help and let you dance to my records

Imma lay in the cut while you spinnin' ya wheels
Don't tell me thats all you got I can do that in heels
20 years worth of trainin' been dancing since I was born
All I need is a mic and stage and watch my body perform

Nobody keep your head bobbin quite like me
On the dance floor rock your body like me
Show you how to do it better get like me
So whats it gonna be Whats it gonna be

Let me see you walk it out
Wa-walk it out
Wa-walk it out lets go
Let me see you walk it out
Don't talk it out just walk it out
Lets go

 "Flying High"

Turn it up
Turn it up
Turn it up
don’t stop
We gon’ take it up a level,
We gon’ turn it up a notch
If you don’t like whatchu been doin’
now it’s time to switch it up
l-l-l-listen up

You can call me complicated crazy,
call me crazy if you want
but we all one in the same,
so get your back up off the wall

And go and get it [x8]

Coz I don’t need to hear it
When the rain comes down,
I will be the sun through the cloud
Nobody can steal my crown,
they can try if they want to

I’ll fly-y-y-y-y-y flyin’ high
fly-y-y-y-y-y flyin’ high

And go and get it [x8]

Coz I don’t need to hear it
Wake it up
Wake it up
Wake it up right now
You’ve been wasting too much time,
time to get up off the couch
O-o-ok you put my name up in your mouth
But but let let me see what’chu about

You can call me complicated,
call me crazy if you want
but we all one in the same,
so get your back up off the wall

Even when the rain comes down,
I will be the sun through the cloud
Nobody can steal my crown,
They can try if they want to
I’ll fly-y-y-y-y-y flying high
fly-y-y-y-y-y flying high
and we fly high tonight…

 "Got Me Figured Out"

Like a maid I can be difficult
But baby you know how to solve it
Like a student if I misbehaved
Take me to the principal's office

Like a lens out of frame out of range
You know how to keep focus
Like a psychic all over my brain
Boy I bet you didn't think I noticed

Got me figured out [4x]
I'd like to put your love to the test before I give my love away
Got me figured out [4x]
I'd like to put your love to the test before I give my love away

Like a sport for beating out of flame
May be we can start a fire
You hit the trigger hold that you can name
Just gave me I'm a moving target

Like a lens out of frame out of range
You know how to keep focus
Like a psychic all over my brain
Boy I bet you didn't think I noticed

Got me figured out [4x]
I'd like to put your love to the test before I give my love away
Got me figured out [4x]
I'd like to put your love to the test before I give my love away

You saw that through the very hard of me, baby I'm letting go
And I have to run I have to run again
And the part of letting go is to get the whole control
We got chemistry some crazy energy baby take me I'm all yours

Got me figured out [4x]
I'd like to put your love to the test before I give my love away
Got me figured out [4x]
I'd like to put your love to the test before I give my love away

"Things Will Get Better"

I'm the one that's always been here
Even through the darkest nights
And brave the tide
For you and me

All I ever needed was you
You never have the worry at all
What happened to us
What happened to love

Every step seems just a little better
Your mistakes don't really seem to matter
I want that going OK.
As long as I got you and you got me

I've been saying to myself be stronger
Like work it out; it's gonna take a little bit longer
As long as I got you, you got me, you say
Things will get better

A mirrors now would've been so clear
Every shadow like a broken glass
Can we mend the past
With me and you

Maybe I should face the truth
I need you to be what I know you can be
Don't give up on us
Don't give up on love

Every step seems just a little better
Your mistakes don't really seem to matter
I want that going OK
As long as I got you, and you got me

I've been saying to myself be stronger
Like work it out; it's gonna take a little bit longer
As long as I got you, you got me, you say
Things will get better

Oh yeah yeah
Hmm yeah
Uhmmm mmm

Things will get better

Choosing a Gift

1
A: I have no idea what to buy for Mary for her birthday.
B: Me, neither! Would you like to go in and buy her a gift together?
A: Yes, that would be good!
B: We need to think about what she might like. What are her interests?
A: If I remember right, she likes music, skiing, and reading.
B: You know, maybe we could get her some concert tickets. Who would know her favorite groups?
A: Her roommate, Malia, might know what her favorite groups are.
B: Yeah, Malia would be able to help us choose a concert.
A: Let's give Malia a call and ask her for her help right now.
B: Good! Maybe Malia would like to go in with us on this gift.

2
A: I can't figure out what to get Mary for her birthday.
B: I am having a problem figuring that out myself. Do you want to pick something out together?
A: Yes, that way we would have more money to spend.
B: She has a lot of interests. What things do you think she likes to do the best?
A: Well, she really likes going hiking, listening to music, and travel.
B: The music idea sounds good. I wonder who knows what concerts she might like to go to?
A: Maybe we could ask her roommate, Malia, who her favorite groups are.
B: Malia would be a great help. She has known Mary a long time.
A: Let's e-mail Malia and ask her for her suggestions.
B: I think that maybe Malia might like to contribute to this gift too.

3
A: I have been trying hard to pick out a cool gift for Mary for her birthday.
B: That's been challenging for me too. Would you like to go in with me and choose something together?
A: Yes, two heads are better than one.
B: What does she like to do? That might help us pick something out.
A: She seems to really enjoy music, getting pedicures, and going to the movies.
B: Maybe we could get her some concert tickets. Do you know who might know what concert she might like to go to?
A: I think that her roommate, Malia, could give us some suggestions.
B: Malia definitely could help us. She knows Mary very well.
A: I am going to see Malia this afternoon after class and ask her what she thinks.
B: That will work out well. Perhaps Malia would like to help buy this gift.

Greeting a Visitor

A: Welcome, Ron, come on in!
B: Hi, Malia! What a nice home!
A: We enjoy it too!
B: How long have you lived here?
A: About four years now.
B: Well, it is very beautiful.
A: Ron, have a seat and I'll get us something to drink.
B: Good! I am really thirsty. You know it really is hot outside!
A: I have lemonade, iced tea, and mango juice.
B: Mango juice would be perfect. Thank you!

2
A: Hi Ron, please come in!
B: Good to see you, Malia. I love your house!
A: We are very lucky to be living in this house.

B: Wonderful. Just e-mail me the time and date and I'll be there.

Inviting Your Boss to a Dinner Party

B: Yes, I think we might be free. What did you have in mind?
A: I've mailed a formal written invitation to your home inviting you to a dinner party at my home.
B: That sounds great. Is it casual?
A: Actually, we thought it would be fun to have a formal sit-down dinner for the holidays.
B: That sounds good. It will give my wife a chance to dress up.
A: Yes, we've invited four other couples, so it should be a good mix of people.
B: That sounds wonderful. Will there be anyone there that I know?
A: Oh yes, everyone we are inviting is from our company.
B: Great! I'll look forward to it. We'll make sure and check the mail for our invitation.

A: Mr. Lee, would you and your wife be free next Friday night?

B: It would be our pleasure to join you for dinner. What type of party is it?
A: We've always wanted to have a formal dinner party.
B: I think we would enjoy that, especially our wives!
A: Four other couples are coming, so I'm hoping for some interesting conversation.

B: I think we would enjoy that. Is it a formal affair?
A: My wife insisted on having it be a formal dinner party this time.
B: That would be a change. Usually we just do barbeques and never get a chance to dress up.
A: We thought that inviting four other couples would make nice conversation.
B: I think we will enjoy being there. Will we know anyone?
A: We are only inviting people from work.
B: I am sure that a good time will be had by everyone. We will be looking for your invitation.
